Tilburg, 2 oktober 2007 - World Class Maintenance (WCM) organises a unique event where Maintenance professionals can experience the latest trends and developments in their field.
There will be around 150 important players working in the Process, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Maritime and Infra field. Regional and national governmental representatives, existing network parties and associations as well as educational & research institutes with strong links into Maintenance will be invited too.
Success of the region
Delegates will hear what the impact of the successful WCM projects is and how they could contribute to realise the ambitions of this region. Foreign parties have noticed these developments as well and they are interested in the Maintenance activities. They will participate in this event to inform themselves about establishing their company in this MRO hotspot.
Cross sectoral
The WCM is convinced that true innovations can only be realised within the supply chain of MRO businesses. The expertise of one single business is much harder to improve. During the event we emphasis this view in several ways:
1) This is also the message of our keynote speaker: Jhr. Prof. Dr. Walther Ploos van Amstel, Netherlands Defence Academy, Breda. His presentation is titled ‘Pay for performance, the need for innovation in MRO & Logistics’
2) With unique, cross sectoral workshops. Asset owners, manufacturers and maintainers will discuss in groups, which aspects they can improve so all can improve themselves and start working together.
3) Cross sectoral MRO vision paper
The results of a research project about the latest MRO trends in the different fields, will be presented by Mark Haarman, managing partner of Mainnovation. This is the first time that a cross sectoral MRO vision paper will be presented!
